The Sonnet Corset is a statement of sculpted femininity, designed to define the waist with exceptional structure and artistry.
The outer layer is crafted from a hand-pleated georgette silk printed with a bespoke watercolour floral design developed exclusively for Scarlett Gasque. Each pleat is individually formed and the entire outer layer is hand-sewn onto the corset, creating soft dimension while preserving the integrity of the structure beneath. This artisanal process ensures no two pieces are identical, elevating the garment beyond standard production techniques.
Beneath the pleated exterior sits a fully constructed crepe back satin corset foundation, engineered with spiral steel boning throughout to sculpt the body while still allowing comfort and movement. This internal architecture provides powerful shaping, cinching the waist with precision while maintaining a smooth finish against the skin.
The back is finished with classic corset lacing and a four-inch 100% silk modesty panel, offering coverage and a refined base beneath the lacing system.
